This is Neil Young's fourth album released in 1972 to mostly positive reviews from critics, it has since been hailed as a masterpiece, showcasing Young's songwriting turning away from Hard Rock and moving into different grounds of Folk and more prominently country, It wouldn't last to long as Young was constintly changing the way his music sounded. Harvest is often considered one of Young's finest studio works

The album was places at number 78 on Rolling Stone Magazine's List of The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
